MRB – The Macro Research Board is a privately-owned independent top-down research firm that provides integrated, global, multi-asset investment strategy as well as actionable absolute and relative return ideas. Our views incorporate a long-term outlook based on in-depth thematic research, together with a rigorous set of frameworks and forecasting models/indicators that drive 6–12-month asset market performance.

We are looking for a talented individual who can blend strong economic research capabilities with creative design skills to join our dynamic Research team.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Extensive data analysis and charting of economic and financial market relationships.
  • Assist in the creation of economic and asset price models/indicators.
  • Support the analysis and forecasting of regional economic trends (growth, inflation, and policy) and financial markets.
  • Participate in research meetings.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in economics, or related field with strong academic background in economics, econometrics, and statistics.
  • Strong aptitude for quantitative and econometric analysis.
  • Strong ability to produce clear and concise written English.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
  • Self-driven with exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Effectively handle multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.

Additional Attributes: Beneficial But Not Necessary

  • Knowledge of econometric software packages (e.g. EViews, Python or similar software) and Microsoft Excel.
  • WordPress
  • Basic Adobe Knowledge i.e. InDesign, Premier and Audition.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with digital content creation.
